Blog Post Blurb

For Cyber smart we have been looking at our blog post blurbs and thinking about what we need to do to make a good blog post. I think I need to work on explaining what I did to learn and how I learnt. The boxes above show what a good blog post needs and what information is not need in a blog post.

Steampunk Art

LI: To use the components of simple machinery to create an artwork.

Yesterday we were learning about Steampunk Art. Steampunk  Art is combining something living with  simple machinery parts.  First we google searched Steampunk pictures to get ideas and  decide on our design. I have combined a shark with a machine for my main picture and have also drawn other smaller sharks. It was fun because I like mythical creatures.

kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we were learning about how to protect and look after our environment and community. We can do this by putting our rubbish in the bins, being nice to our neighbours and friends and respecting each other.
We played a game called snake where we had to crawl around on our tummy and try to tag someone. This game was fun but it was hard.  We also played x and o, tic tac toes. This was when we had 2 teams and we had to run to the chairs before the other team put up their symbol which was an x or an o.

Kiwican

This week at Kiwican we were talking about respect in class.  We show respect in class by following the rules and listening to the teacher.  We played 2 games. The first game was centre ball and the other game was bus stop.  I enjoyed playing bus stop.  To play the game you had to name a food, a boys name, a girls name, an animal and a colour all starting with the same letter, for example, B = banana, Ben, Bella, Bat and Blue.
