How to make a water filter

Items needed:

• Sand  
• Shells
• Rocks
• Sponges
• Stocking
• Recycled bottle
• Jug
• Dirty water
• Scissors

What to do:

1. Cut the bottle in half.
2. Stretch the stocking over the bottle.
3. Drop rocks on top of  the stocking.
4. Put sponges on top of the rocks.
5. Scoop some sand  on top of the sponges.
6. Add some shells to the sand.
7. Pour the muddy water into the water filter.
8. Watch the water drip through the water filter into the bottom bottle.
