Kiwi Can 26 September 2018

Today week 10 it was fun week at kiwi can.  We got to choose what to play.  We all played invisible rugby  and octopus.  The game I enjoyed the most was Octopus because I survived 3 rounds before I was tagged by Sion A.  It was so great.

This week we have been learning about Maori Legends and Myths. My group read the story called A Wife For Te Ra. We worked with a partner from another reading group and he read the story Hokoi and Kahu to me and I had to illustrate the story in sequence.

What is the legend about?    Two birds of Aoteraroa called Hokioi and Kahu 
What did you learn from the legend?   Smaller birds maybe weaker but they can outsmart the bigger birds.
What can we learn from the myth?  To be brave and clever
How do these stories pass from one generation to the other?  By families retelling them, books.
How does your visualisation look different from another group? Different settings, stories, characters.

this week for kiwi can we played  tangled and invisible tag  tangled is a game were if you get tag  you have to holed each others hand and the people at the end  have to tag  same one   this is  how   you play invisible tag the teacher calls numbers and then you have to run to the anther side and if you get tagged the person how tagged you gets the ball   and if he gets the ball he wins

Today  we all learned all about anb how to sow it  then we played mat master and i was so god and it was so fun  then we played carde belder we had to make a building in 5 minutes and we plaid grate  but we were the best. And i relate in your life you have no much time make the most of it then we played master agene it was the best.

For Inquiry today we were creating a slide show to present the information we have found out about different road names.  I worked alongside Sione A the brave one!  And I am happy with what we accomplished today.
